DESIGN YOR BLOG in 20 SIMPLE steps

HOW TO DESIGN YOUR BLOG

1. Sign into your blog .You will then see your dashboard which contains tabs which allow you to view your blog, the number or post or create new posts
2. Click on the view blog button
3. Click on design at the top right hand corner
4. At the left hand side you will see a list of tabs which include overview comments and templates
5. Click on templates
6. Select a template that suites you. You have various choices such as simple, dynamic and many others
7. After choosing a template you have the option of customising your template
8. When you click on the template changes will be automatically done
9. Before you click below each template you will see Apply to blog or customise
10. Click on customise
11. You will be taken to a new page. At the left side you will see the background, adjust widths, layout and advanced tabs.
12. Click on background
13. Here you can see the new colour scheme if you choose to change it in preview form .If you wish to change it click apply to blog at the top right hand screen
14. Click on adjust widths. You have the option of increasing or decreasing the width of your post or side bars,
15. Remember to save your changes by clicking apply to blog if you choose to do so
16. The layout of the blog gives you the option of placing side bars or not and changing the layout of the footer or how the bottom of the page will look
17. Save your changes
18. Advanced allows you to change colour of post, text and backgrounds that suits your blog
19. Add CSS allows you to have a custom style BUT will override or replace ANY changes you have made to the template. It involves editing template codes .
20. At the top right hand corner click view blog.And that’s it all your changes have been made
